UChicago Arts and Sciences Summer in Beijing 芝加哥大学暑期北京文理课程

积极求知、全面参与、全球视野、打破边际 2017年8月7 – 18日  期待高中生的参与 ! 芝加哥大学是一个思想者的社群,旨在培养提出深刻问题、接纳新思想的成员。作为学术创新的中心,芝加哥大学的本科生教育排名全美第三、世界第十。2017年夏天,北京地区的高中生将可足不出户,体验芝大的社群。 本次为期两周的项目将在芝加哥大学北京中心举行,旨在为中国的高中生打磨在美国名校学习所必备的技能。项目由芝加哥大学的教授和高年级研究生领衔,带领学生在课堂内外练习批判性思考、文本细读、论证性写作、开放性讨论,并帮助学生通过芝大独有的跨学科方式探讨基本的、重要的学术问题。参加项目的学生和家长还将参与芝加哥大学招生办公室举办的线上留学申请说明会,向芝大的招生官员了解美国大学的招生流程。 项目在2017年暑期举行,提供两门课程:第一门由古典系教授David Wray执教,内容为西方文明中的幸福观;第二门由本科公共政策项目主任James Leitzel执教,内容为法律和经济。 项目详情: 时间及地点:2017年8月7日至18日, 芝加哥大学北京中心 (近中国人民大学东门) 报名从2016年11月中旬开始,请登录summer.uchicago.edu/Beijing报名 滚动录取:项目可能在截止日期前满员,请尽快申请 所有申请材料的截止日期为2017年5月1日 申请者需要满足英语能力的考核:托福成绩100分以上或通过相关英语水平测评 对极为优秀的学生提供奖学金 本项目不包含住宿 更多信息,包括如何申请等,请访问summer.uchicago.edu/Beijing
