Beijing Watch Party: Live Broadcast of the Opening of the UChicago Center in Delhi

The University of Chicago held opening events for the Center in Delhi on March 28-29.  Interested friends of the University gathered at the UChicago Center in Beijing at 6:30pm on March 29 to watch a webstream of the ribbon cutting for the new Center, live from India. In Delhi, UChicago President Robert J. Zimmer was joined by The Honorable Nancy Powell, US Ambassador to India, and other guests to officially open the new Center. Attendees in Beijing included Paul Wang, LLM’94, JSD’99, head of the UChicago Beijing Alumni Club, and a cohort of current Social Sciences in Beijing Study Abroad undergraduates and their local Chinese language study partners.
