The University of Chicago Center in Beijing has a modest budget to support scholarly activities in each of the three focus areas: Business, Economics, and Policy; Culture, Society, and the Arts; and Science, Medicine, and Public Health. Funding is intended to support a variety of activities, including workshops, conferences, short-term institutes for cutting-edge research, and other activities that express the breadth of these aims.
